We speak with Dayvin Hallmon (born in Chicago, raised in Chicago, an alum of University of Wisoncsin-Parkside) who is the founder and music director of the Black String Triage Ensemble, which will assemble at the site of recent gun violence or civil unrest and will play music as a mean of bringing comfort and restoring peace.
